Ana noktalar

  • ADAS eğitimi, 166 katılımcının sistemin amacı, kullanımı ve sınırlamaları hakkındaki bilgisini iyileştirdi.
  • Eğitim sonrası ADAS kullanma isteği, algılanan kullanım kolaylığı ve kullanışlılık arttı.
  • ADAS'a yönelik algılanan güvenlik ve güven, eğitim sonrası değişmedi.
  • Eğitim öncesi ADAS hakkındaki bazı yanlış anlamalar giderilemedi.

Özet (abstract)

With the widespread adoption of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), the need for effective ADAS driver training increases. However, empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of ADAS education remains limited. This study evaluated the effectiveness of an ADAS driver training program across four European countries. The training included classroom-based theoretical instruction and practical hands-on experience on test-tracks and open-roads. 166 participants completed a questionnaire measuring their knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral intentions towards ADAS pre- and post-training. Overall knowledge of system purpose, handling and limitations improved significantly with the training. However, some misunderstandings remained, and in some cases, misconceptions from before the training were not corrected. Perceived safety and trust remained unchanged while willingness to use ADAS systems, and the perceived ease of use and usefulness of ADAS increased. Future training should not only provide information for trainees but also identify misconceptions they may hold. Follow-up or feedback sessions are recommended to address potential misunderstandings.
