Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Pofolia account at any time — in the app or from the account screen in the web app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, occupation, date of birth) and preferences
- Your reading lists, saved papers and notes
- Your reading history, explore interactions and search counters
- Your devices, notification settings and sessions
What is kept
- Article summaries themselves are not personal data; they remain in the shared public pool.
- Payment/subscription audit records required by law are kept in anonymized form.
Delete in the app
Profile → Delete account → confirm. That’s it.
