By using Pofolia you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The service
Pofolia provides a tool that summarizes academic papers using AI. Summaries are a starting point, not a substitute for the paper itself. Accuracy is not guaranteed — always consult the original source for important decisions.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. Sign-in is via your Google account; you are responsible for keeping it secure.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, scrape content in bulk, reverse-engineer it, overload it, or interfere with others’ use.
4. Subscriptions & payments
Premium is sold through Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS), depending on where you installed the app, and renews automatically. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in that store account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the store you bought from. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Prices may change with prior notice.
5. Intellectual property
The Pofolia brand, interface and the summaries we generate are ours, and you are granted a personal, non-transferable, limited license to use them. The papers themselves belong to their respective publishers/authors.
6. AI disclaimer
Summaries are generated by AI (Google Gemini) and may contain errors. They are not medical, legal, financial or academic advice.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”, without a warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may end your use at any time by deleting your account.
9. Governing law & changes
