Abstract
İslam medeniyetinin önemli fikir hareketlerinin ve akımlarının ortaya çıkmış olduğu ilk dört asırlık dönem çok dikkatli bir şekilde okunmalı ve anlaşılmalı. Bu nedenle İslam tarihinin ilk dört asrında meydana gelen siyasi, sosyal, kültürel, iktisadi ve fikri olayların detaylı bir şekilde tahkik edilmesi gerekmektedir. Abdulâziz Dûrî bu dönemin sağlam bir analize tabi tutulmasının daha sonraki dönemlerin problemlerini net bir şekilde ortaya çıkarabileceğini iddia etmektedir. Dikkatli okuma ve detaylı tahkikten sonraki aşama ise kültür ve medeniyetin kendini yeniden inşası olacaktır.
