Abstract
Çocuklar biyolojik, psikososyal ve bilişsel fonksiyonları açısından yeterince olgunlaşmamış oldukları ve kendilerine bakım veren bireylere bağımlı bulunduklarından dolayı iklim değişikliğinin olumsuz etkilerinden daha fazla etkilenmektedir. Çocukların iklim değişikliğinin olumsuz etkilerinden korunmaları için geliştirilen stratejilerde; eğitim ve farkındalık, iklim duyarlılığı ve dayanıklılık eğitimleri, sağlık hizmetlerine erişim, temiz su ve gıdaya ulaşım, sürdürülebilir tarım, güvenli ve dayanıklı alt yapılar, doğal afetlere hazırlıklı olma, toplumsal katılım ve çocuk hakları, sosyal güvenlik ağları, fırsat eşitliği ve adalete odaklanma başlıkları önemli yer tutmaktadır.
