Abstract
Trabzon şehri ve çevresinin İslamlaşması sürecinde görev icra eden vakıf kurumlardan biri de zâviyelerdir.Fetih olayının gerçekleşmesinden sonra şehre ve çevresine yerleşen Müslüman gruplar arasında bulunan dervişler tarafından şehir ve çevresinde 7 zâviye tesis edilmiştir.Söz konusu vakıf kurumlar bir yandan halkın dinî ihtiyaçlarına cevap verirken diğer yandan da şehre gelip giden yolculara barınma ve beslenme konusunda hizmet etmişlerdir.Ayrıca Trabzon şehrinde yeni teşkil edilen iskan sürecine de fiilen katılmışlardır.
