Abstract

We report a case of Armillifer armillatus infection in Arras, France, in a woman originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She manifested abdominal pain that mimicked a strangulated umbilical hernia. Clinicians should be aware of this parasitic infection, particularly in patients with a history of snake exposure.
