Short summary
A proposed four-domain framework aims to integrate patient-reported outcomes (PROs) into molecular tumor board (MTB)-guided cancer care, addressing current limitations in monitoring and patient-centered decision-making.

Key points
- Patient-reported outcomes (PROs) capture symptoms, functioning, quality of life, and treatment burden directly from patients.
- Integrating PROs into Molecular Tumor Board (MTB)-guided care is limited due to challenges with off-label therapies, sparse evidence, and complex benefit-burden trade-offs.
- A four-domain framework (measurement, data integration, decision support, governance) is proposed to guide the integration of PROs.
- The framework aims to enable longitudinal monitoring and patient-centered learning in precision oncology.

Abstract
Abstract Patient-reported outcomes (PROs) capture symptoms, functioning, quality of life, treatment burden and priorities directly from patients. Their integration into Molecular Tumor Board (MTB)-guided care remains limited and particularly challenging, as recommendations often involve off-label therapies, sparse evidence and complex benefit-burden trade-offs. In this perspective, we propose a four-domain framework encompassing measurement, data integration, decision support and governance to guide longitudinal monitoring and patient-centered learning.
