Abstract
Abstract A {Cu8}-added polyoxometalate (Cu8AP), H3Cs13[CuB(OH)3(GeW6O26)Cu8(H2O)2(GeW9O34)2]·2Cl·15H2O (1), was synthesized via the lacunary directing synthetic strategy. Visible-light-driven photocatalytic H2 evolution performance revealed an exceptional evolution rate of 12632.66 μmol·h–1·g–1, indicative of superior heterogeneous water-splitting capabilities. Additionally, near-infrared (NIR) absorption was observed, enabling a photothermal conversion efficiency of 73.37%, with a temperature increase from 21.4 to 123.8 °C within 90 s under 808 nm laser irradiation (0.9 W·cm–2).
