Tras un análisis minucioso, la Dirección Editorial decidió excluir el artículo “Conocer para comprender la violencia: origen, causas y realidad” de Francisco Jiménez Bautista publicado en Convergencia Revista de Ciencias Sociales número 58 enero-abril 2012, debido a que se detectó que contiene párrafos idénticos del libro Fundamentos socioculturales de la motricidad humana y el deporte de Ángel Acuña Delgado publicado en 1994 por la Universidad de Granada, España, sin ser citado y sin aparecer en la sección de las referencias.
