Abstract
Abstract A simple and practical Mo-catalyzed method has been developed for the de novo and efficient synthesis of versatile N-substituted oxindoles via a reductive C–N coupling/cyclization cascade. This protocol features inexpensive starting materials, broad functional group tolerance, and is applicable to the late-stage modification or synthesis of biorelevant targets.
