Bu çalışmada Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı Dini Yüksek İhtisas Eğitiminin yüklendiği tarihi misyonun ifade edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışmada İhtisas eğitimi ile ilgili kısa bilgilendirmeden sonra medrese eğitiminden bu yana İhtisas eğitimine tarihsel süreçte kaynak teşkil eden kurum ve kuruluşlarla ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir.
